Several transport options are available, including private cars, public bus services, traditional taxis, and ride-hailing platforms. The journey time generally varies between one and two hours, depending on traffic conditions and the mode of transport selected.
By car
The recommended route is via the E102 motorway, also known as Sharjah-Kalba Road. This main road is well maintained, crosses the Hajar mountain range and is the most direct route.
The total distance is approximately 106 kilometres, which takes between one hour and one hour and fifteen minutes in normal traffic conditions.

It should be noted that there are no tolls on this route.
By bus
The SRTA bus service number 116 runs regularly every hour from the Al Jubail terminal in Sharjah, with a schedule running from 5:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The journey to Fujairah bus station takes approximately two hours. Tickets cost between 20 and 30 UAE dirhams and can be paid for in cash or by Sayer card. The route includes several stops along the way, including Mleiha, Masafi and Khorfakkan.
